Thirty nine CTD stations were conducted using SeaBird 19 CTD. In 25 out of 39 stations, seawater samples were collected by Niskin bottles at 8 depths (0, 10, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100 and 150 m) to determine the dissolved oxygen concentration by the Winkler method, chlorophyll-a, and phaeopigment concentrations following the Strickland & Parsons (1972) method. At these stations, zooplankton samples were collected using a bongo net (300 and 500 \u03bcm diameter) with a flow meter attached. The zooplankton net was dragged obliquely from 200 m up to surface.
