The AHTD identifies these routes on the LRS because they are required to report condition, events, assets, etc. on them. The majority of the routes are county routes and city streets. However, we also put Frontage Roads, Ramps, Institutional Drives (College Campus Roads, Hospital Roads, Airport Roads and State Park Roads) on the Off-System layer.\r\n This layer was originally generated to aide the crash locators with law enforcement and the AHTD. Each crash on the State Highway System has to be reported with the logmile of the crash location. This layer provides an easy method for finding those log miles.
